Lee Zohlman brokers two year deal with PepsiCo for Ironman 70.3 San Juan

February 23, 2011 (Miami,FL)- In an exciting sponsorship deal brokered by Lee Zohlman, PepsiCo Americas Beverages (PAB) has signed on as Official Sports Beverage of the Ironman 70.3 San Juan. Zohlman has successfully secured a two year sponsorship contract with PAB, beginning with this years’ 2011 sold-out Inaugural race. In this perfect partnership PepsiCo will be supplying participating athletes with Gatorade Perform (part of the G Series), Aquafina (premium water) and Pepsi.

The completely sold-out inaugural Ironman 70.3 San Juan will take place on March 19 on the picturesque island of Puerto Rico. The race will be the official start of the 2011 Ironman North America racing season and will be transmitted via a live webcast and broadcast locally. Participants will swim 1.2 miles in the protected waters of the Condado Lagoon. The transition between the swim and bike will take place in the Sixto Escobar Stadium. Continuing with a 56-mile bike from San Juan, cyclists will head toward the municipality of Dorado, experiencing beachfront views and challenging climbs.
